Long Term Substitute Teacher

Cannon River STEM School is seeking a 4th grade Long Term Substitute Teacher for eight weeks from approximately mid-February through mid-April, 2020.  Candidates must possess a K-6/1-6 Elementary Education Teaching License. Special Education Teacher

Cannon River STEM School is seeking a Special Education Teacher. The Special Education Teacher will plan curriculum and prepare lessons to  meet individual needs of students while considering state and school requirements. They will work collaboratively with classroom instructors to ensure continuity of the curriculum adaption to meet student needs.  The Special Education Teacher will confer with parents, administrators, testing coordinators, service providers and others to develop IEP’s for students, as well as conduct comprehensive assessments to determine eligibility. Bachelor’s degree of related subject from accredited university and a valid MN teaching license (K-12 Special Education), ABS licensure or dual licensure that includes ASD licensure or dual licensure that includes ASD is required. Previous special education experience is preferred. Americorps Promise Fellow

Cannon River STEM School is looking for a Promise Fellow in partnership with the Minnesota Alliance With Youth. Promise Fellows make positive shifts in attendance, behavior, and course performance for our 6th-8th grade population. Fellows monitor daily attendance and address issues of concern with staff and/or families, track behaviors on a weekly basis based on data collected, participate in daily academic courses with 6th-8th graders, and offer individual help for a student that may be struggling. Fellows improve the school climate by greeting middle schoolers as they arrive each day, participate in daily activities, and facilitate healthy interactions among students during recess and lunch. Reading Tutor 
Cannon River STEM School is looking for a reading tutor in partnership with the Minnesota Reading Corps.
