Special Education Paraprofessional

Cannon River STEM School is looking for a Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2018-2019 school year. Paraprofessional staff provide support for students in and outside of the classroom under the direction of the Student Services Coordinator, Special Education Teachers or Classroom Teachers. AMERICORPS PROMISE FELLOW:  Cannon River STEM School is looking for an Americorps Promise Fellow for the 2018-2019 school year. Promise Fellows will support and deliver a variety of activities to support students by building and fostering strong relationships with at least 30 youth in grades 6-8. The Promise Fellow coordinates and delivers in and out of school time academic enrichment activities and coaches students to promote positive attendance and behavior outcomes. Promise Fellows serve 1720 hours (minimum) from September 1st  to July 31st and receive: Modest Living Allowance (approximately $574 twice per month pre-tax); Health and Dental Insurance; Qualified Student Loan Forbearance; $5,815 Education Award upon successful completion of service; Ongoing, extensive support and training. Reading Tutor 
Cannon River STEM School is looking for a reading tutor in partnership with the Minnesota Reading Corps. Tutors are trained in conducting progress monitoring assessments and research based interventions, and will receive ongoing training and coaching support throughout the school year.  Additional information about this opportunity is contained in this job description Reading Tutor Description.
