This is to remind Cannon River STEM School families that you are invited to join the CRSS staff and board for an open house this Saturday morning, May 30, from 9 to 11, at the school campus in Faribault. Directions to the school can be found below.
At the open house, you will have an opportunity to tour the school grounds and to meet six of our seven wonderful teachers (our first grade teacher is finishing up the school year at her current school in Florida and can’t be with us on Saturday). At the open house, there will be fun activities for the children, including paper airplanes, tie dyeing, and a “meet the teachers” scavenger hunt. We will also be planting our pumpkin patch, and encourage you to bring along garden tools (shovels, rakes, and hoes) and extra pumpkin seeds to join in the planting.
You will also have an opportunity at the open house to purchase Cannon River STEM School t-shirts at a low price of $10 per shirt, and to pick up your MindWare order. Refreshments will also be provided.
It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful spring day, so please come out and join us on Saturday morning.
Directions to Cannon River STEM School
From Faribault. Proceed toward the Faribo Woolen Mills on 2nd Ave NW (Hwy 3). Turn East onto 14th St. NE and follow this road past the railroad tracks and up the hill. At the top of the hill turn left at the sign for Covenant Academy.
From Northfield. Follow Highway 3 south to Faribault. At the first stop sign in Faribault, continue straight on 2nd Ave. NW. Just beyond Faribault Foods on the left, turn left on to 14th St. NE and follow this road past the railroad tracks and up the hill. At the top of the hill turn left at the sign for Covenant Academy.
